- OYAP - Women in Skill Trades
The only course in the TDSB offering Women the opportunity to focus on Essential Skills training in the construction industry. Students will develop the knowledge and skills related to residential construction in an engaging and supportive environment.
The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) is a program for students that opens the door to work in apprenticeship occupations through the cooperative education program. Students have an opportunity to become registered apprentices and work towards becoming certified journey persons in a skilled trade while completing their secondary school diplomas.
