Our mission is to ensure that your well-being is provided for, that your goals for academic achievement are accomplished, and that you are always treated fairly and equitably.

Among our alumni, of notable mention include First Nations Elder Dr. Bob Phillips, actress Catherine O’Hara, and the late film critic Elwy Yost. At Burnhamthorpe Adult Learning Centre we honor our commitment to serve you by ensuring that high academic standards are maintained. Our teachers provide lessons that are instructionally differentiated, as well as, integrated with a variety of innovative technological tools and resources to enhance learning. In addition, we offer you various pathways for success that lead to postsecondary programs or apprenticeship programs.
Knowing that academic achievement is only part of the equation in our goal of ensuring your success, we also offer you mentorship programs and counseling supports, lunch and learn leadership forums, sports programs, and social clubs and activities. Your participation in these co-curricular programs is what will enrich your educational experience and build our school community.
Finally, my staff and I are commissioned and committed to ensuring you receive fair and equitable treatment.
